Hi,
These 5-digit numbers are used by Cypress internal teams. They serve no purpose for external customers. All customers should reference the OPNs in the datasheet such as you quoted in your text.
Is there a particular reason you want to find out the meanings of these internal project numbers?
Best regards,
Zhi

Hi,
Thanks for the additional info. The S99-xxxxx part numbers are for Cypress internal and for some particular customers only. If a customer is given such number, they are also given the mapping to the normal MPN such as S25FL512SAGMFIR10.
Basically you don't need to worry about part numbers in such format. Please just ignore them on any documentation you may have. You should be able to place order by using the normal MPNs according to the datasheets.
Best regards,
Zhi

Thanks for the explanation, it's clear that nothing is clear.
Used in the devices, the S99-xxxxx series has a special design, and there
are no analogues.
For new developments it is necessary to use S25FL512SAGMFIR10.
In the case of features, possible to request order for a special
performance, then the special number of the S99-xxxxx series will be
assigned.

Hi,
I don't quite understand what you stated. Are you saying you have problems ordering S25FL512SAGMFIR10 devices?
Thanks,
Zhi

I mean, your answer is that the S99-xxxxx notations are special versions of
S25FL512SAGMFIR10, but if such a designation is used in the finished
device, then there is no analogue.

Hi,
I am not saying S99-xxxxx is a special notation for S25FL512SAGMFIR10. I am saying you should not be using S99-xxxxx format to order Cypress devices. You should use the normal MPNs, such as S25FLxxxSxxxxxxx.
What do you mean by "there is no analogue" ? Sorry I am not familiar with this term.
Thanks,
Zhi

with you it is interesting to communicate.
" analogue" means a possible replacement with a different designation, but
completely identical in functionality.
I would understand, if you pointed out that all S99-xxxxxx is
S25FL512SAGMFIR10, but S99-50354 is already S25FL256SAGMFIR10, and
S99-50214 - S29WS512P, so I was interested in the beginning, what is the
appropriate for the notation.
S99-50367
S99-50364
S99-50353
S99-50352
S99-50351
S99-50350
S99-50349
S99-50348
S99-50345
S99-50263
I already certainly found the answer to my question, it is a pity that it
was not obtained from the chip manufacturer.
