Is there a setting in PSoC Creator 4.2 to take advantage of all the cores in a computer processor to speed up compiling and build time?

Unfortunately, PSoC Creator does not have support for distributing compilation over multiple cores. Our new IDE, ModusToolbox, which is based on Eclipse, does support it though. It is enabled by default in new projects and speeds up builds significantly.

ModusToolbox will be starting a beta program soon - probably in about a month - and it you'd like to try it out, here is the link: http://www.cypress.com/modustoolbox-early-access-program-eap .
