When you say "We do not want to use WICED IDE", what do you mean? There is a platform folder called NEB1DX_01 is using Type1DX module, so this will help you to understand more detail.
We are developing our application in different IDE. We can not switch to WICED IDE.
We need help in developing low level SDIO driver for 1Dx without wiced SDK.
WICED Studio SDK provides various things. One is IDE which is based on Eclipse. Other is RTOS, TCP/IP, Drivers and such software components. If you are just saying you don't want to use Eclipse, but some other IDE, I guess you can check wifi driver implementation in 43xxx_Wi-Fi\WICED\WWD.

To be clear there are 2 things here: Once is using the WICED IDE(which is eclipse based) or using the WICED framework.
1) Not using the IDE is trivial, you can build all the applications from command line using make.
2) Not using the WICED framework is also not very complicated if you decide to use of the of the supported OS's like ThreadX, FreeRTOS.
But if you decide to use an OS which is not one of the ones supported it's a little bit more complicated.
