What is difference among three binaries for CYPD3125-40LQXI_notebook in SDK

Hello,

There are three binaries in the SDK install directory below.

//cypress/EZ-PD CCGx SDK/CCG3-CCG4/Firmware/binaries/CYPD3125-40LQXI_notebook/

1) CYPD3125-40LQXI_notebook_config.cyacd

2) CYPD3125-40LQXI_notebook_one_3_0_2_905_0_0_0_nb.cyacd

3) CYPD3125-40LQXI_notebook_two_3_0_2_905_0_0_0_nb.cyacd

Although I read CCGx FW User Guide and FW Release note, I cannot find any information.

What is difference among the three binaries?

Hi Takeshi,

Kindly refer my comments as below:

1) CYPD3125-40LQXI_notebook_config.cyacd

>> This is binary file only for configuration.  Update CCG3 with this file will only update the configuration parameters which is listed on EZ-PD configuration Utility.

2) CYPD3125-40LQXI_notebook_one_3_0_2_905_0_0_0_nb.cyacd

>> This is binary file for application update without bootloader information. Please kindly notice the "one" in the file name. CCG3 have two images inside Flash for firmware mainly and fail safe. The alternate one is "two" as below you list out.

3) CYPD3125-40LQXI_notebook_two_3_0_2_905_0_0_0_nb.cyacd

>> Refer above information.
