Hi,
we want ot replace our old N25Q00AA13G1240E from MICRON to CYPRESS device from S70FL01GS series.
E.g. S70FL01GSAGBHIC10
The question is what will be the best choice for long therm availibility?
Thanks in advance,
Sebastian

Hi Sebastian,
Cypress' closest suggested migration path from the N25Q00AA13G1240E is to the S70FL01GSAGBHIC10.
In term of long-term availability, S70FL01GSAGBHIC10 would be the best choice.
Both devices are compatible in its core command set. The N25Q00A is a stacked device (4x256Mb). The S70FL01GS is a dual die stack (2x512Mb) with a 133Mhz Clock Frequency, as well as higher DDR Fast dual and quad read frequencies.
Datasheet link of S70FL01GS: S70FL01GS 1 Gbit (128 Mbyte), 3.0V, SPI Flash Datasheet | Cypress Semiconductor
Thanks,
Nada
