May I know what's VCC meant based on CCG3 and CCG4? For CCG3, we have power input pin, VBUS, VSYS, VDDD, VDDIO and V5V (for VCONN power only). And CCG4 have VSYS, VDDD, VDDIO and V5V (for VCONN power only). And the ports you meant is GPIO port 0-3? Or Type-C port only?
Hello Lisa san,
Thank you for your support.
I mean power supply fault generally speaking.
then , I mean between their system battery and SS pin.
I think it not support for CCG3 & 4, Do you have any proposal for this prevent plan.

Hi Masaya san,
For CCG3 and CCG4, we have implemented OCP and OVP of VBUS. Which is used for protecting CCG3 and other components on the board.
For CC short protection, so far only CCG5 and CCG3PA have hardware protection internal. CCG3 and CCG4 need external MOS FET or specified chip to protect it.
For SS USB signals, we only have ESD protection.
