    Locked topics

    user_342122993

      Hi,

I just wonder who can lock (unlock?) threads? I don't see "lock" button on my threads, so who actually makes a decision?

I am not excited about this feature, as sometimes solution comes up for some older problem, but there is no way to notify the author of the thread.

Furthermore, certain threads a meant to stay unlocked (like community components) so that authors can get a feedback.

          Odissey1,

Forum moderators can lock a thread. As of now, Cypress employees moderating forums can lock a thread.

We lock a thread only after a question is answered. This is done to encourage users to create new thread for new questions on the same topic.

Please let me know the thread where it is locked before a question is answered, we can fix that.

I agree that community components will stay unlocked for feedback. Are there any community components threads locked?

          Thanks
