 Hi everybody,

I'm using de Psoc Designer 5.1 on a Windows 7 laptop and when i build my code i get the following message:

"C:\Cypress\PSOCDE~1\5.1\Common\CYPRES~3\tools\make": Interrupt/Exception caught (code = 0xc0000005, addr = 0x776f2262)

Does anybody know what to to with this error? I never had something like this in the past.

Mike,

I asked a tool specialist to get back with a proper description what the error message means. We will go from there and find the root cause for your problem.

 Hi Mike,

Could you please give following information?

1. Do you see this issue with only one project or every project you build? If you have not tried with other projects, I will suggest you to start a new project and try to build blank project itself. If this project gets through then it must be a project specific issue. In that case, please attach the project in which you have issue. (If it is a confidential project, you may create a technical support case and submit project in that).

2. WHich version of IE is installed on your machine?

3. Are there any specific steps to reproduce this issue?

Thanks,

Sachin

 I am having a similar issue starting today.  "C:\PROGRA~1\Cypress\Common\CYPRES~3\tools\make": Interrupt/Exception caught (code = 0xc0000005, addr = 0x77a18822)"

0 errors, 0 warnings reported but output files are not created.

This occurs with every build including a new project.  I am using Designer 5.0 sp5.5 build 985 with Vista Enterprise; IE 7.

ablot,

Could you please attach your project to this thread so we can include that into our internal defect tracking system.

Thanks,

Is there a solution to the problem; I have the same problem, the compiler finishes without error, but no obj-file.

Eabinder,

Can you please attach your project to this form post? Please let us know which version of OS you are using and which version of PSoC Designer you are using.

Thanks,

@ Mike, ablot and Erik

We are standing by to help you on the issue you have brought up and we need your help to go forward. So far, we have not been able to reproduce the message "Interrupt/Exception caught (code = 0xc0000005, addr = 0x776f2262)"

As 3 different users have experienced the same issue, it is very important that we can fix it! We want our customers to be happily working with Designer, not fighting any issues.

Can one or better all of you please get back to us?

Filing a case with our support team would be a great option to provide the information without publishing your code to the world. Please add the reference CDT 98232 to your case.

Once you are logged in with your Cypress ID, you can file a case here:

Lower right hand corner lets you "Create a Case"

Thank you for your cooperation
