Anyone with similar experience? I am getting this error:

Error: dbg.M0023: There was an error while programming the device: (PSoC Creator received error (100 - The hex file was

built for silicon revision ES2, but the acquired device is revision ES1.))

What is the complete marking of the part number on your PSoC 3 device?

It should read something like "CY8C3246AXI-xxxESx"

There are two versions of PSoC 3 silicon, 'ES1' (and older first revision) and 'ES2' (current revision).  Typically one receives the error you are getting when the PSoC Creator project file was built for one revision of the silicon, and it's trying to be programmed into another.   You can select the silicon revision in the 'Device Selector' under the 'Project' menu.
