In PSOC 4 BLE why there is number of inbuilt services when most of the time a user has to use a custom service. I could find a simple example where you read a value from GATT server and transmit it to GATT client using custom service.

Welcome in the forum!
The built-in services are defined by BlueTooth and the settings and numbers have been pre-defined (allocated) by the BlueTooth SIG. So when you like to build a heart-rate monitor it can be made compatible to all other similar services. This will provide exchangeable servers and no re-programming the client.
