Slave sync fifo mode not working in 32 bit mode

We have programmed the slave sync fifo to work in the 32 bit mode. There is just one setting I am aware of -

#define CY_FX_SLFIFO_GPIF_16_32BIT_CONF_SELECT (1)

But we see FX3 to be working in 16 bit mode. Any suggestion how we can debug this?

Did the document of "cyfxgpif2config.h" rebuilded by GPIF?
