What does the following instruction do?
AMD_CR0|=0x4;
I looked this up in TRM but couldnt arrive at a conclusion. This instruction has something to do with enabling the comparator's o/p bus ?
Please clarify,
RAM

AMD_CR0 selects the modulation input for Type C SC Blocks.
This instruction - AMD_CR0 |= 0x04 will set the modulation input source to Analog Column Comparator 0 (given that AMD_CR0 is initially 0). Please see in the image which Dana attached to know about bit fields of this register.
You can also refer AN2041 for details of SC Blocks - http://www.cypress.com/?rID=2899
