Hi,
I'm just beginning to implement USB on our new product which is PSoC3 based. Ideally I would like to be able to use Visual Basic to communicated with the product. Do I or do I not need to have some driver on the PC or can I simply follow the standard for communicating with the product?
Thank you,
Nick

Hi,
Requirement for driver depends on the application that you are dealing with, see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/ff538853(v=vs.85).aspx for system supplied USB drivers. We have two application notes explaining application development in VC and VC# please go through these links http://www.cypress.com/?docID=28357 and http://www.cypress.com/?docID=27752.
Thanks
Prajith

Hi,
If you are using any of Cypress HS products, please post it in USB HS Peripherals forum. If you are using FX3 or any SS devcie, you may post it in Super speed peripherals forum category.
Or you may post in USB known Problems and Solutions forum category.
Regards,
