In 2014, on the thread "PSoC Creator on Linux (or OSX) w/ or w/o wine", Scott Atkins said that a Linux version of PSoC Creator was "on the roadmap".
I am asking if that is still in the works and if we might see a PSoC Creator for Linux any time in the forseeable future?
If not, might there at least be a version that works well with WINE, please?
Thank you.

Does that mean Cypress no longer intends to make a PSoC Creator for Linux?
Does anyone know if it will run on Win 7 in Ubuntu 16.04 VBox?
Thank you.

Hi, unfortunately there are no plans for PSoC Creator to run on Linux. 😞
You may want to check out "Exporting a Design to Makefile" in the PSoC Creator help. That may help some.
While we don't test on that specific Ubuntu/VBox combo, I see no reason why it wouldn't work.
