If you use the 'Find All Active References' feature to find references to a method name, Creator becomes unresponsive and effectively 'hangs' until the search is complete. The results window does not appear until the search has completed.
Dependent on the size of your project and/or the capabilities of your PC the search can take some time.
My 2 cents worth: The search should be more like the Batch Find, and not make the editor un-responsive, and the results window should appear ahen the search begins and be updated as the search progresses. - or - If the code was somehow 'indexed' then the search could in fact be immediate.
