I searched on the forum but people were all asking how to use the Jlink with GDB..
I have bought a J-Link Edu and I have the olimex wire and I have connected the probe to the PSoC 4 Pioneer but now what..
I just thought that the J-Link would power the chip and PSoC creator would recognise it..
Have I got this all backwards.. my experience with programming tools is totally limited to the ones microchip provide so I am attempting to use it like their tools (ICD, PICKIT)
I know the PSoC pioneer 4 has a built in debugger but I wanted to try out my jlink as I will be building custom pcbs soon and want to see how they work..

You can use J-LINK to program/debug PSoC but not with PSoC Creator. PSoC Creator only supports the on-board debugger and the MiniProg3 tool. The IDEs that do support J-LINK are ARM's uVision, IAR's EW-ARM and Eclipse. You use the "Project->Export to IDE" feature to make your project available in these IDEs.

When this thread says J-LINK works along with PSOC, does it mean all the cypress PSOC/PROC products? Or only a few specific models?
My target device of interest if CYBLE-022001-00.
