    naming and searching

    TiMi_264191

       Hello Everyone,

Sorry for the basic nature of these questions:

In these community forums, can one do any kind of keyword search?

Within the Creator IDE, can one rename a project and/or workspace?

Also within Creator, can one designate the save file location or designate a default file folder for all saves?

Finally, in Windows, what is the best way to search for projects and files saved by Creator onto the hard drive?

      Thanks very much.

Yes, at top of forum screen there is a place to search by P/N or Keyword.

In workspace explorer, right click project name in tree, and select rename.

Looking for this one. When you set up a new project a folder is created, so that may answer your ques ?

          See below, I found it.

Normally you would designate a folder that contains all Creator Projects, so you would just

search in that folder for a project name or subset.

          Regards, Dana.

Thanks very much.... I think I have to rename the workspace not the project.... It seems to have lost the project within...

I will be using the rest of your info later today.

            regards
