Is there a Bat pin that can be used to supply power just to keep the RTC running when main power to the application is removed?
I notice a VBAT used with the Boost circuit but not sure if this is relevant.
I would assume there must be provision for this because it would seem wasteful to use an external RTC when one is on board.
I have lookied through some forums and will do some searches in the meantime.
Thanks

The RTC cannot be made to keep time during a power-down, it has to be set manually again. Only choice is to use an external battery powered RTC-chip.
