Hello,
I have a few LM34 temperture ICs to play with, the IC puts out an analog voltage proportional to the ambient temperture.
1mv per degree F So 78 degree will be 78mv. Any thoughts on seting up the PGA and what the best ADC would be to choose?
Thanks,
Alan

The LM34 puts out 10 mV / F.

Thanks for straighting me out on the mv! I have not used this chip for a while. Any thoughts on the PGA set up and best ADC choice?

I would set in global properties the OpAmp power to high,
to insure CM range is as large as possible. Note PGA is
not R-R on input or output. I would just set G = 1.
Better yet use no PGA and feed the A/D directly from the
pin.
Regards, Dana.

Thanks! Kinda funny feeding the output directly into the ADC is what I would do with the ATMEL part and I was thinking the PGA might be handy for what I am doing. I have no rational reasoning for that thought.
Thanks,
Alan
