Hi every one!!!
I have a question about the use of Psoc Creator and using the programmer 3.21.0.
I need to develop a board using the CY8C3866LTI-030.
It is supposed that the CY8CKIT-030 which has a CY8C3866AXI-040 is able to create and debug code for any device of the family CY836XXXX.
When I am trying to build code there no issue but ehen I want to download code for CY8C3866LTI-030 on a kit a message appears telling me that is not target available for such a device.
Please someone tell me what is wrong with any of my statement.
Thank you very much.
Best regards

Since there are differences between the -030 and -040 chips (number of pins) the hex layout for the initial programming differs. So you have to select manually the correct device before you do a build.

Thank you Bob!
I select the device with de device selector, I layout the schematic, I write down the code and everything is OK.
I build the project and all is find.
When I try to click on programmer icon so I can run the code on the CY8C3866axi-040 a message appear telling me that there is no target matching the selected device.( in this case CY8C3866LTI-030)
I am trying to test my code with CY8C-030 kit before download that code to
CY8C3866LTI-030 on the Scmarboard.
Is it wrong what I want?
I am sure I am missing something but I cannot find what is this.
Thank you again.
Best regards,

You have to select the CY8C3866axi-040 device before building to let it run on your kit. You may change the device at any time using the menu item Project -> Device Selector...
