 Dear all,

I am working with a Wiznet W3100 and trying to move to W5100, as the former has gone obselete. I did follow up on their guide to migration from a W3100A to W5100, available on their website, but can't really follow much.

I would be really glad if someone could guide me through getting on setting up a CY7C68013A with a Wiznet W5100.

Thank you in advance.

Reading the datasheet, it seems to have a simple register access protocol for which you need a master. This can be done in FX2LP's GPIF. Read http://www.cypress.com/?rID=12937 if you're new to GPIF.

Once this works, it's just following their sequences to do various functions. They're all just reading/writing to registers which you do using GPIF.

 Hey Guys,

So after reading your comments, I actually tried following the steps but was not able to port the W5100 drivers. I downloaded the W5100 drivers off the website. Any ideas on how to go about porting the drivers onto the mcu?

Thank you in advance

Hi all, I found a github code page related to this issue.

I think, you could get right information about that.

 Hi,

Thank you Bongjun for the link. I am actually looking for a way/blog/document to help me upload the wiznet W5100 drivers that I already have from here: http://www.wiznet.co.kr/Sub_Modules/en/product/product_detail.asp?Refid=648&page=1&cate1=5&cate2=7&c...

I know this might be a very small thing, but this is my first cypress hardware and I am still trying to understand it.

Thank you in advance
