CySmart mobile app and PC software differences

Hello!

   

I am running a Cypress "PSoC_4_BLE_CapSense_Proximity" demonstarion firmware on my CY8CKIT-042-BLE bluetooth low energy pioneer kit.

After I have connected the GATT Server device to Cysmart mobile app, there should be possibility to select CapSense Proximity service.

       

I do not have a BLE compatible mobile device so I am currently counting on CySmart 1.1 PC software. Is it possible to get this Graphical CapSense Proximity view available on SySmart PC software?

I think not, the CySmart PC software is designed to have an in-depth view of the BLE profile / GATT data. It doesn't provide profile-specific functionality.

Agreed with @hli. 

   

But you can use the CySmart PC Tool to continue with your application and testing. The steps should be similar to that as mentioned in section 4.3.4.1 of the CY8CKIT-042-BLE Kit User Guide (http://www.cypress.com/file/138606/download ).
