I would like to share one SS-PHY (from SoC) with two SS USB device in embedded environment (no USB connectors at all). I am planning to use CYUSB3302, but I don't know how VBUS topology should be build to ensure functional SS links including power management. So in embedded environment I don't have VBUS as such, but do I need build some kind of "virtual" VBUS topology? Or can I make system work without any VBUS lines? All connectivity is SS, no USB2.0 PHYS involved.

Not mandatory to connect VBUS to US port if it is embedded hub. It can be powered through external power supply.

CYUSB3302 and two SS device are on PWB. They are always connected can not be disconnected. Do I still need 5V connected to US port?
