Is there a way to disable Cache in the PSOC4 for power Reduction?

Good Morning Everybody,

       

In our quest to reduce power consumption I ran into this forum post:

Does it reduce power and how do you do it in PSOC creator?

Yes, this will reduce the power to some extend. How to do it in PSoC Creator has been mentioned in the forum post itself.You can disable the cache by going to- project.cydwr(cydwr file of the project)->configuration->Instruction cache enable-uncheck

I forgot to mention that this is for the PSOC4 device.  Does it have an available cache?

I couldn't find an appropriate entry for a PSoC4. Can the cache be disabled for other families than PSoC5?
