Hi,

- Is there a ready made template project for making a CY8CKIT-046 shield?
basically just position and port-names for utilizing all the IO headers

- Does anyone happen to have converted the ev-kit project (CY8CKIT-046) .brd and .dsn files into Altium format?

- Finally, is there a .xls or file somewhere handy that outlines which GPIO's that are "free" on the kit, i.e. not tied to other IC's or parts.

bump! or is there a .csv or netlist for the headers + dimensions available somewhere?

Hi,

The design files are available in allegro format. You may have to check with Altium support on how to import Allegro designs. Allegro design files are available in the kit related files. Most of the pins that come to the headers are free IO. Check for the pins connected to PSoC5LP though. Some other pins will be multiplexed (like to the LEDs, Capsense etc). Kit schematic is available in the kit user guide.

Altium: importing Allegro binary (*.brd) and ASCII (*.alg) relies on the presence of a licensed copy of Allegro PCB Design.. And I obviously don't want to spend $$$ for making one import.

Anyone here that happens to have both installed and can do this?
