Hello,
After having read the post "How to Debug CYBT343026EVAL with Modus " I expect that it is possible to use MiniProg4 to debug a CTBT-343026 eval board. I am in the configuration given below :
1- Modus toolbox Version: 2.2.0 Build ID: 2181
2- debug tool "CY8CKIT-005 MiniProg4 " with the configuration given by "Cypress programmer" :
Info : Connected - MiniProg4 CMSIS-DAP BULK-1F1C15C800287400 FW Version 2.10.878
Info : Selected Device: MP4 BULK-1F1C15C800287400
Info : Could not connect to device: MiniProg4/PSoC 61/62/63
Info : Open On-Chip Debugger 0.10.0+dev-3.0.0.665 (2020-03-20-10:13)
3 - Connected to "CYBT-343026-01" as show in the give the attached picture.
4- I have take project "HAL_PUART" given in the "project example creator" and change "ENABLE_DEBUG?=1" build all and flash
I am trying to use MiniProg4 for debugging and IDE is reporting an error (see attached error picture). Does anyone already encounter this problem ?
Thank you in advance for your support
Hi,
In the connection diagram it looks like you the USB port for the EVAL board connected to a PC. In that case the USB UART on the EVAL board will be connected to the CYBT-343026 via the HCI UART. I looked at 'connection.jpg' and it seems like, you may want to change all switches on the 'SW4 - HCI UART' to 'OFF' to disconnect the on board USB UART, to avoid any signal clashes.
Let me know if this helps.
Regards
Winston.
Hello Winston and thank you very mutch for your help !
Change all switches on the 'SW4 - HCI UART' to 'OFF' doesn't solve the problem.
I have change the connector to make sur that the default is not from it and the problem is still present. has anyone use MiniProg4 on CYBT-343026-01 ?
Best regards
