Hi, we're doing final verification for a new product design using the CYBLE-222014-01.
I have found the intentional and unintentional radiator test reports for this device here (https://community.cypress.com/t5/Knowledge-Base-Articles/RF-Regulatory-Certifications-for-CYBLE-2220...) but the intentional radiator report seems to be missing some tests. Test report 1622078R-RF-US-P06V02 contains:
- 15.247 (b) Maximum peak power output
- 15.247 (d) Emission on band edge
- 15.209 Radiated emissions limits (spurious emissions)
However to comply with the rules my understanding is that the following tests are also needed:
- 15.247 (a) 6dB Bandwidth
- 15.247 (e) Power spectral density
Am I incorrect in my understanding that these additional two tests are required to pass FCC? Is there any reason why these tests have not been performed?
Thanks

Hello,
CYBLE-222014-01 is the upgrade of CYBLE-222005-00, and they have the same FCC ID, so some test data of CYBLE-222005-00 could be used by CYBLE-222014-01.
Thanks,
P Yugandhar.

Hello,
15.247(a) and 15.247(e) reports will found in '1590279R-RF-FCC-15.247_BT 4.1_-EZ-BLE PRoC Module-CYBLE-222005-00-V1.0.pdf' in the FCC test report folder.
Thanks,
P Yugandhar.

Thank you for the reply Yugandhar.
I did see the document you refer to but it mentions only the CYBLE-222005-00 module. I realise they must be built on the same chipset but I haven't been able to find any explicit information stating that the CYBLE-222005-00 also applies to the CYBLE-222014-01.
The 222014-01 test report does mention: "Compared with CYBLE-222005-00, the main chip of the CYBLE-222014-01 has upgraded the Bluetooth version from BLE 4.1 to BLE 4.2.". As I said though, nothing clearly identifies that the results from "1590279R-RF-FCC-15.247_BT 4.1_-EZ-BLE PRoC Module-CYBLE-222005-00-V1.0.pdf" are valid for the CYBLE-222014-01. Is there somewhere this is clarified that I have missed?
