Show LessHi there,
We are trying to fcc wifi certify our project which uses a custom buildroot toolchain and arm processor.
We need help to compile the wl_tool so we can proceed with certification, but we need it to be cross compiled for our architecture (arm 32bit).
Can I ask a representative to help us to compile it with our custom toolchain?
CPU Info:
- armv7l
- little-endian
- hard-float ABI
- neon/vfpv4
Custom Toolchain Instructions:
- download toolchain
- extract toolchain:
tar jxf arm-co6-linux-uclibcgnueabihf_sdk-buildroot_2021.02.1.tar.xz - cd to arm-co6-linux-uclibcgnueabihf_sdk-buildroot
- ./relocate_sdk.sh
- add toolchain into path e.g.
export PATH="$PATH:$PWD/usr/bin" - Set cross compile variables:

WiFi and Bluetooth are turned on together and can be connected normally.
But after turning off WiFi, Bluetooth will be disconnected (Bluetooth is still on)
Is this related to the NVRAM settings?
If so how to separate it

Hi,
Following steps from this discussion: https://community.infineon.com/t5/Wi-Fi-Bluetooth-for-Linux/Monitor-Mode-Feature-on-CYW43455/td-p/138749, we cannot enable monitor mode od CYW43455.
wl ver
18.15 RC1.67
wl0: Aug 29 2023 01:47:08 version 7.45.265 (28bca26 CY) FWID 01-b677b91b
We're getting error -23 when running wl monitor 1 command:
wl monitor 1
wl: error -23
And also monitor command is not listed in help menu.
Since the wl version is newer than the one in the post is there anything we should do additionally to be able to use monitor mode?
Regards,
Tijana
Show LessHow to configure 1MW in DTM mode without using CMW500 tester?

I have a problem with backported FMAC driver when using SDIO interface.
When I try to restart the device, kernel crashes on wifi driver.
In backtrace there is description "use-after-free", see attached backtrace.
We are using v5.15.58-backports - 2023_1128 Release
1MW module (LBEE5HY1MW) with iMX6 cpu
Image is generated using Yocto with meta-freescale.
Kernel verion is 5.10.52
I think the problem is in this part of code
ifx-backports/v5.15.58-backports/drivers/net/wireless/broadcom/brcm80211/brcmfmac/sdio.c

if (bus->watchdog_tsk) {
send_sig(SIGTERM, bus->watchdog_tsk, 1);
kthread_stop(bus->watchdog_tsk);
bus->watchdog_tsk = NULL;
}
Why is the thread terminated twice?
I think that if the thread is terminated on a signal, then a subsequent call
kthread_stop(bus->watchdog_tsk);
can cause this issue.
Can someone please confirm this or explain why there is signal sending and also kthread_stop?
Hello, I want to work with a 2BC CYW4373E chipset, is it possible to configure that chipset to work in AP + STA mode?
I looked at this post: https://community.infineon.com/t5/Knowledge-Base-Articles/Concurrent-AP-and-STA/ta-p/246043?emcs_t=S2h8ZW1haWx8Ym9hcmRfc3Vic2NyaXB0aW9ufExKU0pJVUNMRUM4TUM2fDI0NjA0M3xTVUJTQ1JJUFRJT05TfGhL.
Howrver, I will work with a STM32MPU device, so I would like to know if I can apply the same in order to work in AP + STA at the same time.
