Hi, gangi
Our customer's test board may be crashed. So download is always failed with error log below.
It may be caused wrong application is download. Our customer verified usb cable had no problem at all.
Could you give a guide how to recover EVB? I also posted log files.
Test board : Module information is BCM94390WCD2 and EVB version is BCM9WCD3EVAL1.
SDK : SDK 3.1.0

Show LessHi,
I want to broadcast device information like its capabilities (i.e. if its light, then off, on, dimmable etc...) ,device id and other cosmetic information. Does anyone know any existing method available in WICED? I know there are mdns based methods but I doubt if they do all these beside broadcasting service name. Also, can I control wiced device remotely without using web server?

Show LessI'm using protocol buffers and I need to generate C files in my build step which need to be added into my Application make targets. What would be the best way to do this? How can I create a pre application build target that will generate the extra source files and then add it to the main applications targets dependency ?
Show LessHi Folks,
I am evaluating WICED WiFi 94390WCD2.
The evaluation board has "RESET" button to reboot.
I call this as "hard reset" since I have to press the button to reboot.
Can I implement "soft reset" in my application code?
I try to find out the function like reboot or jump to crt0, but I couldn't find it.
Please anybody give an anser for what function I have to call.
Thanks,
Joon

Hello - I am looking for a reference design to use on a new design. I have data I want to bring into the eval board at the expansion header on 14-16 (SPI) then transmit the data back out over WI-FI.
Thanks in advance
Scott
Show LessIs there any information on the WICED Audio SDK?
#include "wiced.h"
#include "stdio.h"
void application_start( )
{
int i;
unsigned int x,y,z;
wiced_init( );
for(i=0;i<5000;i++)
{
wiced_result_t wiced_adc_init(wiced_adc_t adc1,uint32_t);
wiced_result_t wiced_adc_take_sample( wiced_adc_t adc1, uint16_t* x );
wiced_result_t wiced_adc_init(wiced_adc_t adc2, uint32_t );
wiced_result_t wiced_adc_take_sample( wiced_adc_t adc2, uint16_t* y );
wiced_result_t wiced_adc_init(wiced_adc_t adc3, uint32_t );
wiced_result_t wiced_adc_take_sample( wiced_adc_t adc3, uint16_t* z );
}
x=x-338;
y=y-338;
z=z-338;
printf("x=%d\ny=%d\nz=%d\n",x,y,z);
wiced_result_t wiced_adc_deinit( wiced_adc_t adc1 );
wiced_result_t wiced_adc_deinit( wiced_adc_t adc2 );
wiced_result_t wiced_adc_deinit( wiced_adc_t adc3 );
}
We are getting a zero output for all x,y,z.
Please help
Show LessWe are working with WICED version 2.4.1 and have encountered an intermittent problem where the radio stops passing traffic across both the STA or Soft AP interfaces.
Our upper-layer code frequently moves between SSIDs by calling ‘wiced_wifi_leave()’ (to disassociate from the ‘old’ access point) followed by ‘wiced_wifi_join()’ (to join a ‘new’ AP.) Occasionally, after several moves between SSIDs, the radio stops passing network traffic. The device never recovers and requires a re-boot to start working again.
Running the code in a debugger we have observed that the radio firmware has flowed off the transmit queue by sending a frame with the ‘wireless_flow_control’ flag in the header set to a non-zero value. This happens via a call to ‘wiced_bus_set_flow_control()’ in ‘wiced_process_bus_credit_update()’ (SDPCM.c) while processing an incoming frame. Any subsequent attempts by ‘wiced_send_one_packet()’ to fetch a buffer from the transmit queue fail when the call to ‘wiced_bus_is_flow_controlled()’ returns ‘true’. Our problem arises from the radio never flowing the transmit queue back on (by sending a frame with ‘wireless_flow_control’ set to zero.) Our debugging runs indicate that the radio firmware is functioning; the soft AP is still transmitting beacons and the radio is still receiving frames and passing them up to the WICED code (none with the flow control flag cleared.) Even after waiting several minutes the flow control flag is not being reset.
Could this be a bug in the radio firmware or are we doing something wrong?
Show Lesswhen I check the $(LINKER) in the wiced_elf.mk, it is defined as the arm-none-eabi-g++, why it is not arm-none-eabi-ld?
Where does Wiced define these compiler and linker?
