Is this the WiFi board that works with HomeKit SDK? Broadcom BCM943362WCD4 WICED WiFi Module
Is there any Bluetooth version of the board that works with HomeKit SDK?
Show LessDear,
I'm trying to develop homekit device without display.
Snip code includes how to use "wiced_configure_accessory_password_for_device_with_display", but I have few information "wiced_configure_accessory_password_for_device_with_no_display".
I guess device developer can set arbitrary password with "XXX-XX-XXX" format, so I wrote like this.
uint8_t* password = "123-45-678";
wiced_configure_accessory_password_for_device_with_no_display( password );
However, iOS application cannot activate the device with code "123-45-678".
When I use "wiced_configure_accessory_password_for_device_with_display", it works.
Could you kindly give me advice?
Show LessHi,
I was running through OTA_FR app example and was trying to compile and download on my device. In the readme text in ota_fr file its mentioned that "
WICED Application Framework (WAF) supports loading and storing of multiple
* application binaries in the external serial flash
"
Is it possible to use this application to update internal flash code?
Show LessHi Guys,
Is it possible to overwrite factory reset application image (FR APP) on external flash (after it has been programmed at a time of manufacturing)? Does WICED Application framework support it?

Show LessHi,
I would like to play with bluetooth on a board which is using a bcm4330 with a kernel Linux 3.0.5
I can find some topic which are saying that I need to enable the bluetooth by using this command :
echo 1> / sys/class/rfkill/rfkill0/state
Problem is that this path is not available in my root file system. /sys/class/rfkill is empty.
Do I need to enable something in my kernel config to populate this directory ? I can see that the bcmdhd driver need a firmware to working correctly but after some search it seems that the firmware is only mandatory for the wifi feature. Moreover I does not need to modprobe the bcmdhd to be able to run the bluetooth part of the chipset.
Thanks,
Arthur.
Hi,
we are searching for a chip/solution to build up a large-scale 802.11s mesh network.
It is going to be used as a backbone for a control application to connect multiple 802.15.4 networks. Therefore, a 5 GHz solution would be preferred.
On the software side we would either use Linux (with the potential time-consuming task of writing a kernel driver for the chip) or an existing stack with 802.11s support (WICED?).
Any suggestions?
Greetings,
Florian
Show LessI'm using wiced_tcp_server_start() to implement my tcp server.
I hit a hang up issue (not able to make new connection) if I have more
than 5 connections, I cannot connect to the server any more.
The connected connections still work, but new connection always fails.
I try to close all connected connections, but still not able to connect
to the server any more.
I've no idea why this happens with more than 5 connections.
I increase WICED_DEFAULT_TCP_LISTEN_QUEUE_SIZE to 10.
Increase WICED_MAXIMUM_NUMBER_OF_ACCEPT_SOCKETS and
WICED_MAXIMUM_NUMBER_OF_SOCKETS_WITH_CALLBACKS to 10.
The issue still happens with more than 5 connections.
Test on SDK-3.1-beta1, FreeRTOS+LwIP build.
Looks like a SDK bug. comments?
Show LessHere is my environments.
- WICED SDK 2.4.0
- ThreadX/NetX Duo, BCMUSI11
- AP, Laptop1, Laptop2, WICED module
1. WiFi module is associated to the AP. (Laptop1 and Laptop2 do also via WiFi).
2. Start 2 ping-test. (From Laptop1 to Laptop2, From Laptop1 to WICED module)
3. After some hours, ping(from Laptop1 to WICED module) was unusual state as below.
<A3> : from Laptop1 to WICED module, <B> : Laptop1 to Laptop2
4. This status continued until leave/re-join to AP.
And, this situation occurs frequently.
Of course, in test-lab there are many APs, but another WiFi devices(Laptop1 and Laptop2) show stable ping-result as <B> under same-environment.
Please give me your advice about that.
BR, Steve
