Wi-Fi Combo Forum Discussions
Hi,
I'm looking for examples of low-power / system-off (power off) modes using the bcm43362a and haven't been able to find any in WICED SDK 3.3.1. I'm using the MXCHIP EMW3165 (STM32F4 + BCM43362) for testing power consumption. Switching to power-off state in the host MCU after wiced_deinit() doesn't seem to help much.
Thanks
Show LessHello,
I am running WICED 3.5.2 on a Particle Photon and every time that I try to do an MQTT Connect (to broker: AWS IoT) I get a TLS_ERROR_UNEXPECTED_MESSAGE returned from ssl_handshake_client_async(). Since, that function is closed source I cannot debug any further.
The name of the error seems to me to be an issue with the protocol.... Or could this be poorly named and be an issue with my certificates or private key?
Thanks,
Jake
Show Lesswho can introduce sdk how to bootup,such as press power key ->bootloader->app.
Lorsque j'essaye de lancer le debug en cliquant sur l'icone, un méssage apparait.

Show LessHere is where it hangs when booting the board up after the 5 second hold message and fails to post the configuration ap connect info.
In wiced_network.c under the NetX_Duo directory the code fails to exit the while loop below
else if ( config == WICED_USE_INTERNAL_DHCP_SERVER )
{
/* Create the DHCP Server. */
while ( IP_HANDLE(interface).nx_ip_driver_link_up == NX_FALSE ) // This case happens after p2p moves from group negotiation to starting the group owner

Show LessHi
For API "wiced_bt_rfcomm_check_connection", the third input parameter "UINT16 *p_lcid", how can i get it when i'm trying to use this API to check rfcomm connection status? and where can i get more documents on how to use BT API?
Show LessDev kit 3.5.2
Note I'm NOT using the AWS IoT (I have that working fine)
I can connect to HiveMQ broker fine (iot.eclipse.org) using the unsecured example.
When using the snip.secure_mqtt example (modified with host lookup: if (wiced_hostname_lookup( MQTT_BROKER, &broker_address, 30000 ) != WICED_SUCCESS)
it hangs trying to connect.
I am using the supplied certificate in the example.
Is there something I'm missing in my setup?
Show LessHello,
We are using SN8205 custom module with SST25VF080B Serial flash and Wiced 3.1.2.
When we are using snip.ota_fr-SN8205x JTAG=Olimex_ARM-USB-TINY-H download run
then we can download OTA app to our module.
After that over web page we are also able to download snip_scan-SN8205x.stripped.elf.
After downloading the binary web page displays rebooting the module but module side not starting any application.
Following steps we had seen and checked from other posts:
/* in ota_fr.mk */
DCT_IMAGE := $(OUTPUT_DIR)/DCT.stripped.elf //It already had
/*in sn8205x.mk */
/* it already ther in Makefile */
APPS_LUT_HEADER_LOC := 0x0000
APPS_START_SECTOR := 1
in sflash_write.c
#define WRITE_CHUNK_SIZE (4096) /* Writing in chunks is only needed to prevent reset by watchdog */
also tested with
#define WRITE_CHUNK_SIZE (8*1024) /* Writing in chunks is only needed to prevent reset by watchdog */
#define SECTOR_SIZE (4096)
If we try to use snip.ota_fr-SN8205x JTAG=Olimex_ARM-USB-TINY-H download download_apps run
then it gives following error
