I want to get reset reason when app boot up but not found any Wiced API or something related in WICED document about how to get reset reason? Anyone can help?
Show LessHello.
I'm using CYW954907EVAL1F and I'm configured this board as WIFI AP.
The board has to send couple of UDP packets at a rate of 2x30packets/s.
The packets are 1KByte large.
Can I increase WICED_PAYLOAD_MTU from 1550 to 2020 in WIFI to transmit the whole couple of packet in one ?
There is a limit to MAX TRANSFER UNIT in WIFI ?
Show LessHello.
I've developed a project for CYW954907AEVAL1F with WICED.
I want to migrate this project from WICED to MODUSTOOLBOX because I believe to understant in some threads that MODUSTOOLBOX has NetX-Duo library more updated than WICED.
Can someone help me ?
Show LessHi,
I am using CYW54907 dev board, WICED SDK 6.6 with default Netx Duo. I want to ask if the wiced sdk has supported for dhcpv6 request, dnsv6 and pingv6 yet.
Apparently, I don't see any implementation on creating and requesting dhcpv6 on SDK. I did capture packet from the board with the Wireshark, but don't see any dhcpv6 packets. And without dhcpv6 support, i cant get dnsv6 ip address too.
I don't even see Router Solicitation packet, Neighbor Solicitation from my board too. Does the sdk currently only generate IPv6 from Router Advertisement packet, and doesn't care about duplicated addresses?
Thanks.
Show LessHello,
intend to use the Murata type 2AE module , containing the CYW4373E wifi chip.
Could you tell if RFMON, monitoring mode is supported with the CYW4373E?
When reading below forum threads, I guess monitoring mode is supported. But I would like to have confirmation
there are no hardware restrictions on the CYW4373E.
Thank you
Show LessHello,
I'd like to know whether WICED SDK supports IPv6 as the same question was asked in other message, https://community.infineon.com/t5/Wi-Fi-Combo/IPv6-support-in-wiced-sdk/m-p/288568, but never replied.
My app is using FreeRTOS/LwIP with IPV4+IPV6 configured and has no problem on IPv4 communication. However, the app never receives any of IPv6 packets from the network. I wonder this is because my app fails to setup IPv6 (problem somewhere on create socket, bind and/or receive) or the network chip (4343W) does not support IPv6. When I try to send an IPv6 multicast packet, then it goes to the network and arrives at the other device. But same sequence with different direction, that is, the other device sends a packet but my app doesn't receive. More specifically, the function host_network_process_ethernet_data() in wwd_network.c has never called for IPv6 packet arrival. A ping6 also fails to get answer from my device.
Please let me know if it supports IPv6, so I can go a good direction.
Regards.

We've received reports that CA(Certification Authority) are not being checked, and we're considering taking action.
Since "TLS_VERIFICATION_REQUIRED" is set, I think the SSL certificate verification process is working.
◆ File
wiced_defaults.h
/* WICED TLS Options * /
#define WICED_TLS_DEFAULT_VERIFICATION (TLS_VERIFICATION_REQUIRED)
◆ Environment
・ WICED SDK: 6.4.0
・ OS: ThreadX
◆makefile
In the current situation, to check the Certification Authority (CA), is it enough to set the path of the root CA to "CERTIFICATE" and "PRIVATE_KEY" in the makefile?
Or is this a self-signed certificate for the HTTP server, and there is another way to check for a Certificate Authority?
CERTIFICATE := $(SOURCE_ROOT)resources/certificates/server_cert.cer
PRIVATE_KEY := $(SOURCE_ROOT)resources/certificates/server_cert_key.key
