The basic problem of the CYW943907AEVAL1F development board! The Ethernet port does not work.
Whether using the ping_ethernet demo program or the ping program, it does not work in Ethernet port mode and does not receive any data!
The same code works in WIFI!
I don't know if the development board has a hardware failure. Can anyone tell me how to solve it? I am using it for the first time.

I am using CYW4356. The current FW has very high switching time for moving from one APN to other.
How can I enable i802.11r—Fast Roaming (between APs) feature to fix this?

Show LessI lose my date time when VDD power lost. We do have a battery connected to VBAT.
I think we are missing some configuration for enabling battery back up.
We are doing the following:
[..] To enable access to the RTC Domain and RTC registers, proceed as follows:
Enable the Power Controller (PWR) APB1 interface clock using the
RCC_APB1PeriphClockCmd() function.
Enable access to RTC domain using the PWR_BackupAccessCmd() function.
Select the RTC clock source using the RCC_RTCCLKConfig() function.
Enable RTC Clock using the RCC_RTCCLKCmd() function.
Is there more we need to do?

I'm using the BCM943907 chip and I was wondering how does the background connect work.
There is not much documentation regarding wiced_bt_gatt_le_connect, wiced_bt_ble_set_background_connection_type and wiced_bt_ble_update_background_connection_device.
I tried all possible combination of the three functions above but I never receive the wiced_bt_ble_selective_conn_cback_t registered by wiced_bt_ble_set_background_connection_type.
Could you please clarify how to use background connection and its mechanism?

I am working with raspberry pi zero w, and he use BCM43438 (bluetooth and wifi). I downloaded the pdf from cypress about BCM43438, but have only tecnical spcifications. I need the list of commands.. I cant found in anywhere. I searched in google, github's and in many sites, but only poor informations.
Plz, I am developing a new OS, ans i not using any linux version, and i whant to use bluetooth and wifi from raspberry pi zero w, and not need to use third party modules.

Show LessIs anyone concerned or looked at the endurance issue with OTA2 updates and the rewrites of the header?
During a update, the header is rewritten with status and bytesReceived for each write function call.
My image is 966KB and my downloads are received in 1KB chunks.
That means the header is read/erased/written nearly 944 times during one update.
The external flash specifies 100,000 cycles so this is only like 100 ota updates over the life of the product which maybe a lot but may not be depending on the life and application.
Would it make more sense to modify wiced_ota2_image.c, wiced_ota2_image_write_data function to not update the header and create a new function that will update the header when all bytes have been received?
