WICED Studio Wi-Fi Combo

I use the chip of BCM43362 and do wifi adaptive test on channle 1 and channel 13.

The NVRAM parameters are:

edonthd40=-86

edoffthd40=-92

edonthd20u=-86

edonthd20l=-86

edoffthd20ul=-92

The test results show that pass on channel 1 but fail on channel 13.

Can you help me to explain the meaning of parameters above and how to adjust these parameters?

Thanks a lot.

Basically the edoffthd is provided for hysteresis. If ch. 1 has passed adaptivity but ch 13 has failed, it is possible that the RSSI is too high for ch. 13. Please check if lowering the RSSI to below -50 helps.

edonthd and edoffthd are energy detect on and off parameters required for adaptivity. If it is failing on channel 13, it is possible that you are testing on default country code US/0 where channels 12 and 13 are disabled. Can you check the Wi-Fi regulatory manual https://www.cypress.com/documentation/application-notes/an225347-cypress-wi-fi-clm-regulatory-manual? Adaptivity testing has been explained in section 4.2.5 along with the relevant wl commands.

During the test,I set the country code “DE”.

Am my understanding right?

How to explain the third situation?

RSSI>= edonthd energy detect is on

RSSI<= edoffthd energy detect is off

RSSI> edoffthd and RSSI< edonthd ??
