Hi,

I remember that I have seen some post mentioned that sdk3.1 is supposed to be

released on early August. But the SDK seems not release yet.

I'm currently using sdk3.0.1, but there are some major issues need fix.

1. It does not support OTA for BCM94390WCD1.

This is a must have feature for our product.

So I would like to know will this be supported in sdk3.1?

2. With sdk3.0.1, I got download DCT failure on Linux.

I have reported this issue on http://community.broadcom.com/message/5547#5547

   but no feedback so far.

It's important to get this fix as we mainly develop on Linux environment.

Will this be fixed in sdk3.1?

Can someone help to answer above questions and also provide the schedule about

sdk3.1 release? This is important for us to plan the schedule for our products.

Thanks.

UPDATE: 3.1.0 was scheduled to release yesterday.  However a key partner updated their specifications last minute, and we want to check if it affects 3.1.0 release.  Since we don't want to release SDK and a patch immediately after.

I will keep you posted, everyone will be notified.

Gangi,

I'm disappointed with 3.1.0-beta1 release.

As *all* mentioned issues (including OTA for BCM4390) are not (yet) fixed in 3.1.

It's really difficult to plan the product schedule with such situation.

Hello - We could not get everything in this release and did not want to delay some key improvements. We will have a updated SDK shortly with  OTA support.

Hi Gangi,

It's good to know OTA support will be included in a updated SDK shortly.

Do you have a target sdk update release date?

We are in a dilemma situation as we need a demo for basic features

including OTA in the end of Sept. for our customer.

We really don't want to put resource to do the same thing that SDK will support.

So we need the sdk update schedule to allocate our human resource.

Thanks.
