Studio Bluetooth Forum Discussions
Hi,
I have created project and build an image following " Chapter 6A: Classic Bluetooth - The Wireless Serial Port Profile (SPP)" as attached.
The application is running and the device can be seen and paired. However, I could not see virtual serial ports listed on the COM (device manager).
From the trace, I could see the pairing process has no problem. The problem is connecting. I could not see the trace information from the three SPP callback functions,
spp_connection_up_callback, spp_connection_down_callback and spp_rx_data_callback when connecting. it seems that the "wiced_bt_spp_startup(&spp_reg);" has not been executed properly somehow. Or the spp.c file is not linked properly. I don't know.
I have run the snip.bt.spp demo. It works fine and a bluetooth virtual com can been seen.
These two projects should have similar application size after build. However, the eq_spp is smaller (4.7K) thant spp (6.1k). Is something not right with Wiced Studio IDE?
I have seen a similar post here, and has no answer for it.
Could you please have a look to see what is missing in my project.
Thanks
Show LessHi,
I want to confirm central(A: with hello_sensor demo) to connect to pheriphy(B: with hello_client demo) and transfer data with pheriphy. So I add scan function to hello_sensor.example to searched the B, then wiced_bt_gatt_le_connect to the B. But it seems that is not successful because B no any connection comming in the log(If I use app in mobilephone to connect to B, there is related log). But wiced_bt_gatt_connect status is 1. I don't know why.
Below is my code

Hi
What is the difference among below levels in secure hub article?
The 4 security levels supported in this project are
- Just Works
- MITM
- LE Secure Connection
- LE Secure Connection with MITM
Hi,
I want to check connection and transfer data function via hello_sensor demo example. I use APP in mobile phone to simulate pheriphery. But I cant judge which one is my APP pheriphey Because I just list mac address and UUID. I don't know how to print pheriphy's "name". What can I do?

Hi,
Our client want to do function via Bluetooth Core Specification 4.2 or above. I think cybt-343021-01 is meet 5.0. Then I see below information in WICED Studio Developing Custom Applications with BT Designer spec. If I use WICED to generate the code, will it be any problem? Can 4.2 requirment be meet?

Could you let me know the behavior in I2S slave mode ?
- Can 343026 handle higher sampling rate then 48 kHz ?
- Can 343026 handle longer sampling data then 16 bits ?
According to the data sheet, 343026 is supported up to a maximum of 3.072 MHz.
48 kHz * 16 bits * 2 channels = 1.536 Mbps.
So, it looks 343026 may use higher or longer data then 48 kHz, 16 bits.
For examples, is 343026 able support the following settings ?
Case 1) 96 kHz, 16 bits, 2 channels
Case 2) 48 kHz, 24 bits, 2 channels
Show LessHi.
I am working on a project involving A2DP source application. For this task i've bought CYW20719 eval board and DSP which provides audio package via I2S (mixed signals from 8 microphones). I have made some changes in watch example and managed to stream audio from DSP, but there is some delay (it is not my concern for now). However in the project i can't control the app via HCI. I started developing custom a2dp source bluetooth app with the use of bluetooth designer. Once the template has been generated i've copied some functions and after hours of struggling i have managed to compile and run the app, but after trying to connect to mono receiver i get "Key retrival failure". The code got really messy and i don't really know what's going on inside of it.
Because of the HCI control it is really hard for me to figure out whats going in in the app, i am basicly blindfolded. Does anyone have any guide for a2dp source application? Or can provide any help which would allow me to write custom app?

Show LessHi,
I want to realize a function that BT A device search TagB and connect to BLE device C, then communicate data with C(transfer data with C). I know I can custom FW as hello_sensor demo. How about ezserial_343026-CYBT_343026_EVAL-rom-ram-Wiced-release FW? Did this FW suport my above function? If support, which document I can refer to?
