installed SDK 6.4 and tried to run hci_audio_gateway demo to connect to a bluetooth headset (tried several).

it will connect and disconnect to the device but the audio will not turn on (the peer device thinks it's connected) . 

The hci trace has a bunch of errors in it that look like issues in the underlying code , they may be a red herring but the open command never completes

the development board is a CYBT_353027_EVAL

the bt_spy log is attached.

       I  am very confused  that  why the CTL Server model includes the  Level server and  lightness server,  As I know, the  level  server model have  realized the same functions with lightness server,  I  don't  know what are the differences between Level server model and lightness server model, who  can tell me?

Hi All,

I had tried to ON/OFF LED connected as per attached schematic but not able to do using attached code in notepad++.

I had used CYBT-343026-01 based custom board WICED Studio ( WICED-SDK Version: Wiced_006.002.001.0002 , b94b1cc047c6cbaa4d2aa50bd36d6af921998270 )

I am able to program device but not effect on LED.

Please help if I had anything wrong in code.

I was running a test application on my CYW920719Q40EVB-01 Evaluation Kit and looking at it with a BLE monitoring app. When I plugged in an antenna, it didn't seem to increase the RSSI according to the app. It looks to me like there's a resistor or capacitor missing on the connection which routes it to the PCB antenna instead of the external antenna. I bought this specifically because it had an external antenna option, but is it not actually connected?!

The customer would like to confirm the below questions.

1, According to datasheet, there is a "PowerControlStep" item in Txpower of Classic Bluetooth,

but there is no such item in the TxPower column of BLE.

Could you tell me the reason?

2, Minimum is 2dB, so does it mean that the minimum step can be changed in 2dB units?

But on this site, I can only set it in units of 4dB,

so the PowerControlStep min 2dB in the data sheet can't be realized?

Please teach if there is another method to change the output.

3, Regarding the TxPower in the data sheet, you can see the notation of

odd output of EDR 9dBm (typ), BLE 9dBm (max).

What kind of command is required to realize the data sheet output?

I am using a CYBT-343026-EVAL board.

I prepare it donwloading the application "CYBT-343026-01 WICED EZ-Serial FW Image V1.1.14".

The application starts and I see the text command interpreter on the PUART interface.

I see no command interpreter on the HCI UART interface.

Can I enable the ""CYBT-343026-01 WICED EZ-Serial FW" application to expose the command interpreter

on HCI UART too?

If not, is there a ready to use application for this purpose?

I am working with the CYBT-343026-EVAL on wiced studio running the AD2P sink example and I modified the I2S config to run as slave by changing "route_config.is_master = WICED_FALSE" .

It seems that de data output line on the i2S bus is not able to pulled down for some reason I don't according . Per what I see in the doc this is all the configuration needed, but maybe I'm worng. Below you can see a picture of a 44.1Khz word clock line I'm using (blue) and the data output (green). Hence, I'm not having any audio on my bench as the low level is never reached. Any suggestions?

Would anyone please suggest how to implement scheduler on BLE Mesh devices(with CYW20706) through mobile application (MeshLighting.apk) or other if any. I've contemplate mesh scheduler client code in WICED 6.2 platform and tried as well but the device got provisioned in mobile app and no scheduler configuration setting displayed.

My requirement is very simple that the devices should switch ON/OFF or dim as per time schedule configured through mobile application. Please advice implementation process.

I'm currently trying to use a Raspberry PI as HOST and bluetooth board as a controller. I connect them like this:

RPi <===> cp2102 USB2TTY bridge board <===> tx/rx/GND 3 wire <===> BT board External HCI (J1)
Then at the RPi console I run:
"hciattach ttyUSB0 any 115200 noflow"

This command success, the device  is attachec as "hci1".

But when I tried to bring up hci1: "hciconfig hci1 up", it always return "connection timeout".

BT board SW4 in switched to external HCI. Jumper J2 is connected. Jumper J8 is at 3.3v.

Is this solution supposed to work?
