Studio Bluetooth Forum Discussions
i have used the CYBT-343026's platform: Platform Files for CYBT-343026-EVAL – KBA221025
and i cannot get the Evaluation module to connect to the WICED Studio. The error i received says that it actively refused connection (basically no connection to EVAL).
i am trying to program either the uart.hex or the app/hello sensor application. Any advice?
Show LessHello, I have custom module with CYW20706 and gd25wd40c serial flash. I can't run my application after download to serial flash. I'm writing to flash with ChipLoad. Parametrs of ChipLoad.exe -BLUETOOLMODE -REBAUDRATE 115200 -LAUNCHADDRESS 0x00000000 -PORT COM8 -BAUDRATE AUTO -MINIDRIVER platforms/CYW920706WCDEVAL/uart.hex -BTP platforms/CYW920706WCDEVAL/CYW920706WCDEVAL_24Mhz_SFLASH.btp -NODLMINIDRIVER -CONFIG build/BT-CYW920706WCDEVAL-rom-ram-Wiced-release/BT-CYW920706WCDEVAL-rom-ram-Wiced-release.hex. Writing to flash works fine only in recovery mode(MOSI to GND and RESET 1s). I think maybe my problem due to use 24Mhz? XTAL_STRAPs selected correctly (STRAP0 to VDDIO, STRAP1 to GND) and i see on oscilloscope that 24 Mhz. I have CYW920706WCDEVAL and on it my programm work fine. Anyone have any ideas?
Show LessI just purchased a CYBT-483039-02 BLE module and I would like to know its default output power. I know that the CYW20719 device can be set up to +4dBm and also that the PA RFX2401C can provide up to +20 dBm, but I would like to know what's the module actual advertising output power the way it is being sold by Distributors.
In case this value is different depending on Regions, I bought it in the European Union. With the device and the PA being feed with 3,6 Volt, the module consumes 8 mA. Thanks.
Show LessHi guys,
I'm developing a HID device (keyboard/track pad combo) that requires a USB dongle for easy plug and play. After searching the cypress product range, the most suitable device combination/dev kit seems to be the wirelessUSB NX kit https://www.cypress.com/products/wirelessusb-nx . However that is no longer recommended. What is the most direct alternative?
I have currently demonstrated the device with a BLE chip and a BLE-USB bridge, but need to improve (mainly) cost and responsiveness.
The main drivers of this device design are low cost, low power consumption and, to a lesser extent, size.
Cheers,
Aaron
ps I'm new to the community, but have been using Cypress products for the last 3 years after transitioning from another manufacturer...
Show LessDear Sirs and Madams!
If I get following Bluettol config file upload error:
Does this mean it is only parse error or if I add some entry into generic3dg.cgs (configuration file), do I have to "register" added entry somewhere else?
Show LessHi, I am currently connecting to CYW20706 with our MPU.
I sent the HCI_RESER command"01 03 0C 00" to CYW20706 from MPU.
And I got the HCI command"04 13 05 01 0B 00 01 00 04 0E 04 01 03 0C" from CYW20706.
I know the "04 0E 04 01 03 0C" meaning, but I don't know "04 13 05 01 0B 00 01 00".
Could you tell this command "04 13 05 01 0B 00 01 00" meaning?
Thank you!
Best regards,
Yuji
Show LessI am new to bluetooth and Cypress and I am evaluating the CYBT-343026-EVAL kit, my application uses spp and I went through the provided spp snip and managed to get it working.
The WICED Wi-Fi 101 Video Tutorial Series doesn't really help, things like delay or rtos api doesn't seems to be supported by this module. Is there any module that supports dual mode (spp ) and rtos?
Also in the spp api how can i search and add available devices?
Show LessHi
Could you tell us the Bluetooth version in CYBT-343026-01?
⇒ Is it Ver_5.0?
The datasheet of CYW20706 describes Bluetooth 4.2.
"The Cypress CYW20706 is a single-chip Bluetooth 4.2-compliant,"
In the below product site, it is written as "Bluetooth 5.0".
<https://japan.cypress.com/products/ble-bluetooth#tabs-0-bottom_side-3>
Thanks
