Hi,
Are there any differences between CYBT-343151-02 & CYBT-343026-01 apart from the operating operating temperature range?
Module CYBT-343151-02 is advertised here for extended temperature and range, how it differs from the range functionality compared to CYBT-343026-01?
Regards,
Se

Hi SaEa_4705941,
As mentioned in datasheets, CYBT-343151-02 has temperature range –30 °C to +105 °C whereas CYBT-343026-01 has temperature range: –30 °C to +85 °C.
CYBT-343151-02 can be used in higher temp ranges than that of CYBT-343026.

Hi SheetalJ_96,
Thank you for your response.
So both modules have same line of sight range capabilities?
This article states CYBT-343151 has 400m LOS connectivity whereas 'WICED-based EZ-BLE and EZ-BT Modules' tab on this page states 225m los connectivity for CYBT-343026.
Please confirm which module can achieve higher range if there are differences in underlying hardware. This decision is important for us as we are on the design phase.
Thanks,
Se

Hi Se,
I would suggest you to refer Cypress documentation for confirming the features. As mentioned in CYBT-343151-02 datasheet (https://www.cypress.com/file/457546/download ), we have tested BLE connection range upto max length of 250m.
For CYBT-343026-01, it is 225m.

Hi SheetalJ_96,
Thank you for confirming. If that's the case. Then articles like below shall be taken down by Cypress. It adds confusion about the capabilities of the module.
CYBT-343151-02 Bluetooth 5.0 Module - Cypress | DigiKey
From here, I take the only difference as operating temperature, not the connectivity range.
