Secure update works well.
But Non secure update don't works with Android OTA.
I downloaded Android application below link.
http://community.broadcom.com/thread/3093
I ran ota_firmware_upgrade application running on TAG3 board.
The debug message in Wiced SDK says below.
// command to start upgrade should be accompanied by 2 bytes with the image size
if (len < 3)
{
ble_trace1("\rBad Download len:%d", len);
return (FALSE);
}
How can I solve this problem?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance.

Show LessGood afternoon
i know there is several topics in the forum covering this aspect but it is still not clear for me, how to specify the BD_ADDR in production ?
i designed a download GUI whre i'm using only chipload.exe to download .hex into a BCM20737S module. it is working fine but as far in understand, the BD_ADDR is changed during the compilation.
i would like to avoid to re-make the .hex file for each product we will manafacture, if possible.
is somebody have an experience about BD_ADDR programming in production and would share we me his/her experience ?
i thank you a lot for the clarification
Show LessHi,
what are the recommended power input capacitors for the BCM20737S module? In the WICED Smart reference design, I can see that there are 10uF and 100nF capacitors used, is this combination recommended?
Also, in the gerber data I can see that three components are placed directly underneith the BCM module, one zero ohms resistor (R9) and presumably two 100nF input capacitors. Is this close placement to the power input necessary? As I am aiming towards single-sided assembly, I would appreciate if I could place all the components on the top side, outside of the keepout area. Can you guys advise me to do or not to do so?
Thank you very much,
Cheers
Janos
Show LessI have added WICED Sense device support to my accelerometer application for iPad.
If anyone is interested to see the beta, it is available on the iTunes store via test flight installation. You can sign up by replying to this thread or posting a request on our google group. I hope to work the remaining bugs out in the next two weeks and publish the update to our application.
The application is intended for physics teachers and hobby scientists. It might also be useful for app programmers that need an easy way to view and save graphs of accelerometers in real time to help them visualize sensor readings.

Show LessI want to implement OTAFU with iOS.
However, I couldn't find the sample code for iOS but for Android.

Is there OTAFU sample code for iOS?
Show LessHi.
I've been a while using the WICED Sense.
After loading the sample application
Suddenly, the power is no longer enter the unit.
Is there a possibility to recover?
If so, please tell me how.
From this thread
Connectable vs. nonconnectable Advertisements.
A slave device(A) can broadcast non-connectable advertisement while it is connected to a master device(C).
If I have other slave device(B) that is also connected to the same master device(C), ...
- can slave device(B) receive that advertisement from device(A)?
- can master device(C) receive that advertisement from device(A)?
- Is there any sample code for this task?
Can the master device(C) broadcast non-connectable advertisement while it is connected to the slave devices(A&B)?
