Will there be a BCM20706 Version including Antenna?

Hi,

I just found out about the BCM20706, and am very much looking forward to testing this!

However this will only make sense for us if there will be a version including the Antenna in the near future.

When, if ever can we expect this, as samples and then for production?

Where can we get access to the Smart Ready SDK?

The SmartReady SDK will most likely be released in Q4'15.

The plan today is to support the SmartReady BCM20706 both as an SoC (no internal antenna and no regulatory) and SiP module (internal antenna with regulatory)

But in my calendar it's already Q4'15 😉

Will Samples and Eval kits be available at the same time as the SDK? could we order them earlier?

When is the (planned) release date for the SiP module? And could I get a preliminary datasheet for this (I assume dimensions, footprint, etc are already available?)

One last thing: will there be USB (Host/OTG if possible) support on the BCM20706?

Q4 Ends in December of 2015 🙂

There will be no USB support on the SmartReady solution we provide to the broad market.

Any news on this? Q4 is as good as over, and I'm still eagerly waiting on more infos, especially Datasheet and availability info of the SiP module, as well as the newest devices (BCM20719 and BCM20739) - will these be available as SiP's any time soon?

Anaren is the Braodcom module partner and will be releasing a Fully certified [regulatory] and BT SIG Qualified Dual mode BT radio based on the BCM2070x with choice of an onboard integrated antenna as well as connector for external UFL antenna.
