WICED smart SDK installation in Windows 8

Hi All,

I am trying to install wiced smart sdk in windows 8. I'm receiving the following error "Couldn't find appropriate JRE. need JRE 1.6 or higher".  I have already installed JRE 1.7 in my system. Can any one tell me if this sdk supports windows 8 or i have to for 7/XP

I have installed both JRE 1.7 & JRE 1.6 and both are enabled.

System Specs: Intel Core i3, 6GB RAM

We are working on solving this problem.

In the mean time if you wish to get started immediately you can download the 7zip package of the SDK and Eclipse for C/C++ development and import the workspace found at the root directory of the SDK.

Thank you for the reply nik &  fortner. I have already configured my Eclipse IDE manually with SDK. It is working fine.
