Hello

With Wiced smart 2.01 and BCM92073X_LE_KIT I face an issue with the debug feature :

when I click on  Debug/Wiced Debug": i have the following error message.

error1.jpg

And when I click on Debug / debug WICED-Smart-SDK Release I have the following error message :

error2.jpg

With this configuration HW and SW I can programm heart rate monitor example and display the result in my android phone.

Something is missing in my configuration?

By the way what kind of probe can I use tho debug via SWD (J10) ?

Thanks for your help

Best regards

Michel

Debugging is not supported on SDK 2.0.1 and lower. This is coming in SK 2.1 to be released in a few weeks. You will need Segger J-Link (Base is the least expensive and will work with SDK 2.1) if you want an integrated experience. You may still continue to use ARM RealView/DSTREAM if you have it or want to, but that will be outside the WICED Smart IDE (because you have to use ARM DS5).

When will SDK 2.1 be ready?

We are targeting release for the end of this week.

Do you really mean end of *this* week? Today is already Friday...

Will the debugging be supported on MacOS X and Linux as well or will it be Windows only?

What is the best source in Europe (Germany) for the Segger J-Link Base?

What adapter is needed for the Segger J-Link Base?

Hello sbs,

The SDK 2.1 for Windows has been released: WICED Smart Documents & Downloads

  1. The release today will NOT include the MacOS X Release.
  2. We are looking at releasing the MacOS X version next week.
  3. We will provide the JLINK information shortly.

Thanks,

JT

Hi j.t,

Where can I find the JLINK debug proposal? I have downloaded the 2.1.0 7z.

Any news on the JLINK documentation and the MacOSX/Linux release of SDK 2.1.0?

We just received our Segger J-Link Base and are very curious if and how it works...
