There is no roadmap today for this series to support all of the features in the BT 4.2 spec.
The BCM20732/BCM20736/BCM20737 (SiP and SoCs) are all certified for BT 4.1
Today, we support larger MTU sizes, which is something I believe will be included in 4.2.
There is a long_characteristic sample in the SDK, and a good thread on it here: BCM20736S - change ATT_MTU
