Hi,
I downloaded the latest version 1.2.1 of FX3 SDK, and started usning.
When I click on "New" or on "Cypress provided Interfaces", it is getting hanged.
Is there any supporting software required for GPIF programmer?

Show LessHi,
I'm design a bridge to read/write 8080 type device through USB. But I have problem on the GPIF2 waveform design. For write operation, I can use DMA_RDY_CT to trigger write operation. But how to trigger read operation?
A sample project that uses GPIF2 as master to interface with a SRAM type device would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Show LessWhile implementing a Windows 7 application to read data from IN endpoints I started by following closely “the letter of the law” and looped the CyAPI XferData call to the driver with a buffer length and length according to the documentation namely 512 bytes for high speed and 1024 for super speed. This resulted in very poor performance, as I was missing data. Next I decided to see if I used for the aforementioned call bigger buffer length, which immediately improved performance. However, the upper limit I hit was 32K size buffers, which is really good but for the fact that I still miss some data in between XferData calls. I would appreciate anybody on the forum that may have a solution for me, even if it means making changes to the device driver to handle much bigger buffer transfers.
Show LessI check most of example code know GPIF can input a clock as reference. Does GPIF have a PLL(phase lock loop) let user can program and output to other device as a reference clock?
Thanks.
Show LessHi All,
I want FX3 generate digital video signal as video pattern generator. The signal I needed are pixel clock, horizontal reference(h-ref, someone says (data enable)DE signal), vertical sync(v-sync), and data.
For example. we can see the signal like as application note AN75779 "Interfacing an Image Sensor to EZ-USB® FX3™ in a USB video class (UVC) Framework" Figure2
In actually I want generate signal include "FV" , "LV" , "PCLK" , "DATA" whole signal in Figure2. Does GPIF2 designer can support this type signal?
Thanks.
Show LessAnytime I call "CyU3PUsbGetDevProperty(CY_U3P_USB_PROP_FRAMECNT,&Frame);" I get "CY_U3P_ERROR_BAD_ARGUMENT" returned. I am succesfully firing a USB event callback on each SOF and I then need to detect the '0' frames whilst still in the event callback. I am using 1.2.3 libraries. How do I make this work?
