Is it possible to have AUTO_SIGNAL or AUTO DMA channels for multiple endpoint OUT (data coming from USB port) to one PIB (GPIF-II) socket but the data buffer is NOT interleaved?

I have FX3 GPIF-II attached to FPGA (FX3 is slave, FPGA is master interface) and I am using slave fifo firmware example. 

What I want to do is to map several EP-OUT to one PIB socket because I need several of the same data paths from an EP-OUT to GPIF socket. But I want to have 1 dedicated DMA ready flag and 1 dedicated DMA partial flag (not any current thread flag) just like in the slave fifo example.

What I am planning to do is to create several, lets say 2 AUTO DMA channels, one with producer socket is EP1 and consumer socket is PIB socket 0, the other channel is with producer socket is EP2 and consumer socket is PIB socket 0 also.

At first I think this is fine but I am really doubting this..

Any help would be appreciated..

Does anyone know if Cypress offers a PCI-e X4 FX3 USB 3.0 Reference/Gerber Files, or knows of a entity making a PCI-e X4 to USB 3.0 FX3 Card/Adapter/Interface please ?

I am having trouble figuring out the following things with FX-3 super speed explorer kit.  I would like to use my FX-3 to stream data in and send it to a computer that has a mass storage device attached to it using SSD SATA III.  I would like to store the data in the storage device.  In order to do that what kind of USB device class would I be able to make the FX-3 use?  

Any related information on this topic would also be greatly apprieciated.

I've a problem with the I2C.

I try to send data to a max7313 but without success.

MAX7313-Pins:

AD0=GND | AD1=SDA | AD2=SCL

So the addr. is ' 1 0 1 0 0 1 0' - I'am using the 'UsbI2cDmaMode' example and parse the following

reqcode=0xBA

rextype=Vendor

direction=out

wValue=0x1

wIndex=0x0

At the end the 'CyFxUsbI2cTransfer' failed...

I hope someone can help me...maybe it's a little problem with a huge effect 😕

is it possible to configure the data bus widt to 24 bits? I've checked the differences between 8, 16 and 32 bit, there only changes the 79th line in the last 8 bits (CY_U3P_PIB_GPIF_BUS_CONFIG).

I need 24 bit data width and SPI for my booting from SPI flash (firmware). If I look to the pin list in the datasheet , I can see that there is no intersection between data bus and SPI bus.

Good day. In Superspeed, there are two 3 info that we need to retrieve from the ITP packet. However i am not sure how to retrieve them from the 32 unsigned bit from ITP in Cypress.

There are 3 info: 

1) Bus interval counter

2) Delta

3) Bus Interval Adjustment Control

I am using 

apiRetStatus = CyU3PUsbGetDevProperty (CY_U3P_USB_PROP_ITPINFO, &ITP_value);

to get the value from DevProperty. So now i got 32 bit ITP_value, but how can get each info separately?

Besides that, how to check for Delay Flag(DF) in Link control Word of ITP packe??

Hi,

I was looking at CX3 but it outputs data in the form of UVC. Processing UVC via DirectShow makes it Windows-specific and I wanted to build a cross platform application. Can I configure CX3 (or even FX3) to output raw data as it is without the additional overhead of UVC? If anyone has additional thoughts on processing UVC, I tried libuvc but couldn't get it to work on Windows 8.1

From what I understand, CX3 has a MIPI interface whereas FX3 has GPIF - is that the only difference between the two?
