Is there example code available that shows how to install Window's OS descriptors in the FX3 firmware, so that it automatically makes Windows use its WinUSB driver?
 

I'm trying to add the required string descriptor to the mandated index 0xEE, but I'm getting an 'index' error. How do I add that string descriptor to index 0xEE? (Do I need to create up to 0xEE dummy string descriptors? Actually, that is doubtful, The FX3 seems to allow 16 as its highest indes: due to: #define CY_U3P_MAX_STRING_DESC_INDEX   (16) )

we  are designed usb sd3 based custom board. we have ported example illustrates the use of the FX3S firmware APIs to implement mass storage class device that allows access to SD/MMC devices connected to SD3 given along with SDK.kindly suggest how to make password protection of partion created in emmc card

I have 2 question about developing printer application with FX3

1. Does FX3 support multiple class driver ?  such as description below

Using 2 interface descriptor which is Printer class and vendor class, and each interface could transfer Bulk IN, Bulk OUT. 

2. Could you share me any FX3's example driver for printer?

Hi all,

I have the following doubts regarding xfer data and buffers.

1. I am sending Xfer data from the pc and I have set buffer count to 6. If i send 1 xfer command,how many buffers do i get(will I get the 6 buffers or only 1 buffer). 

2.What is the minimum time between xfer commands.

3. Maximum How many buffers can I use 

4.What happens If i send xfer data command too fast and buffer is not available

I wanted to know which chip the CYUSB3KIT-003 board uses. all i managed to know by reading datasheets and application notes is that the chip is CYUSB301X, and it doesn't tell very much since some of the FX3 chips have 16 bit data bus width. you know, actually i want to use the board for transfering the ADC data that i read by an FPGA to PC , so i concerned about the actual throughput that i can get from the board.

We are trying to send data from C# application to spartan 6 board through USB fx3 and spartan 6 will write the same data through USB fx3 to c# application.
We are able to send the data but unable to receive it back. 
For fx3 firmware i have used application note AN65974 and firmware code available with it.
Also i wanted to know which function to use  #define STREAM_IN_OUT  or #define LOOPBACK_SHRT_ZLP present in the firmware. 

Looking for support on the above mentioned issue.

Dear sir,

I have problem to program set enabling stream format for FX3.

I want to know way to setting variable value image size and frame rate to UVC compliant software such as AMCap application.

I can set only one image size and frame rate on UVC software.

But, my USB3.0 application can support variable image sizes and frame rates.

Which USB handle or event should I use?

I programmed FX3 chip with the firmware available with the design note AN65974 with small changes such as

commenting #define LOOPBACK_SHRT_ZLP

uncommenting #define STREAM_IN_OUT

But when i send data through c# application it does not update FLAGC when viewed in ChipScope Pro.
