We are using a CX3 development board and trying to transmit a camera video and readings from an external sensor (connect to FX3 via I2C) to a PC host . We were able to get OV5640 video and readings using bulklplowlevel to a PC host separately, however, were NOT able to get both working at the same time. It looks like they both configured in a different way. Any advices?

Is there a way to create more than one image file under the debug folder when working on Cypress EZ USB Suite? I am currently using the FX3 Super Speed Kit and working on the SRAM_FX3 example from the SDK that I downloaded. I am using this project as a reference for my application and running multiple configurations of GPIF files, and it would be helpful if I can have an .img file for each GPIF file I modify.

I am new to this chip and any advice would be helpful.

I developed “SyncSlaveFifo2Bit” (as attachment) based on “slfifosync” which in EZ-USB FX3 SDK 1.3. I can successfully compile SyncSlaveFifo2Bit in Eclipse 1.3.3, and use Control center to download *.img (Debug folder) to CYUSB3014 to test w/ Streamer. However, “NTSTATUS = c0000001” happened after several Xfer…

I also re-compile SyncSlaveFifo2Bit in Eclipse 1.2.2 and *.img coming from 1.2.2 can work well (transfer lots of packet and didn’t happen NTSTATUS = c0000001) with Streamer.

The detailed description is as attached. I wonder if I should use 1.3.3 for my future work, and need your great help.

  I have changed the firmware provided in AN75779.zip  to meet the requirement of my own sensor with the following features:

1.16-bit synchronous parallel data interface

2.16 bits per pixel

3.YUY2 color space

4.1920*1080 pixel resolution

5.30 frames per second

6.Active high line valid signals,Active low frame valid signal.

7.Positive clock edge polarity

For 16-bit synchronous parallel data interface, I go to the Interface Definition tab in GPIF II Designer and choose the 16 Bit option for Data Bus Width, then i go to the state machine tab, change the counter limit value of LD_DATA_COUNT and LD_ADDR_COUNT to 8183.Finally, i update the cyfxgpif2config.h in original firmware project,andmake sure the iomatrix configuration in the firmware has the isDQ32Bit parameter set to CyFalse.

For 1920*1080 pixel resolution, I change the related content of descriptors as follow,

       0x09,                           /* Y dimension of the pictuer aspect ratio:Non-interlaced */

and changed the probe control setting.

My sensor can output the data.After all, I build the firmware project and download the .img file into FX3 and preview real-time video use software like AMCap/VirtualDub, the system could work, the video is abnormal,the image is attached,it like the U data and V data in the video are inverse. And the AMCap/VirtualDub could not read the video information like resolution.

I don't knoe what I should modify.
