Hello Everyone,
We are using FX3S (CYUSB3035) in one of our design. We are using IO lines of the same as control pins for our design. The control pins are used at low speed to either turn on or turn off individual circuities.
We would like to use IO pins of FX3S as triggering pins for our circuitry.
Is it possible to use the IO pins as trigger pins? If yes what is the maximum frequency/speed at which these pins can be triggered?
Thanks & Regards,
Sunny Watts

Hi Sunny,
You can use the IO pins as trigger pins for your circuitry.
Please refer to the following KBA: Increasing Frequency of Bit-Banged GPIO Clock in EZ-USB® FX3™ - KBA90267
The above KBA explains about the frequency of the bit banged GPIO clock to be ~500KHz.

Yashwant
