Hello,
I am considering the CYUSB302x, CYUSB303x, CYUSB202x, for my project, but I would like to know the serial write performance when these devices are in MMC-DDR52 mode. So it is a High Speed mode , with Dual Data Rate in 52MHz. I would like to use 1 pin to transfert my data so the transfert will be serial.
Could you tell me what is this serial write performance ?
Regards

Hello Sylvain,
Please refer to the test conditions and data rate obtained using FX3S below:
The standard Windows Mass Storage driver uses very small bursts (64 KB) for mass storage data transfers, and the performance obtained is limited by various protocol overheads.

Hello,
Generally, the write performance can be calculated as follows:
Write performance = 52 * 2 * bits used for interface
Here, as you are using 1 bit interface, the write performance would be:
Write performance = 52 * 2 * 1 = 104Mbps

Hello Jayakrishna,
Yes of course this is the theoretical maximum data transfert performance (implies x8 bus width), but did you have any "real world number" from any benchmarks for example.
Best Regards

Hello Jayakrishna,
Thank you for this anwser.
Did you have other data rate obtained using SD3 (CYUSB302x) and SD2 (CYUSB202x) ?
Best Regards,
Sylvain

Hello Sylvian,
The performance numbers shared in my previous response is same for FX3S, SD3 and SD2. But, SD2 does not support USB 3.0 mode.
